David Sabogal

Project Manager, Financing Sustainable Landscapes


David Sabogal is an environmental anthropologist, with experience designing and implementing multi-disciplinary research projects and conservation initiatives with rural and indigenous communities and governments across South America, Central Africa and South East Asia. David’s previous work has focused on land tenure regimes, land use dynamics, natural resource management and monitoring, and climate policy - in particular REDD+. Currently, he focuses on natural resource governance using a water-energy-food nexus approach as part of efforts to improve climate resilient development in tropical forest landscapes.
