Science

Life meets the atmosphere in the tropical forest canopy. Much of the life in tropical forests is found in the tree-tops and the GCP was created to help support research and training at this scientific frontier. As awareness and evidence for climate change and biodiversity loss have grown, so has the need to conserve tropical forests as a means to ensure human wellbeing. We seek to catalyse and promote research into the ways in which tropical forests act as a life-support system in order to provide decision-makers in communities, governments and businesses with the information they need to maintain healthy, natural tropical forests.
